What is X-Tri Australia?

X-Tri Australia is an event organiser and sports marketing firm.

It specializes in event organization, development and co-ordination. Event quality is a vital component of development. Only events of the highest quality can possibly satisfy the needs of competitors, sponsors, the industry and the public into the future.

X-Tri Australia has already pioneered multisport concepts, working in a wide variety of triathlon, ocean swims and fun runs and launched the XTERRA concept ‘down-under’.

X-Tri currently produces and promotes three Ironman 70.3 events. The first of these is the Mercure Capricorn Resort Ironman 70.3 Yeppoon at Yeppoon, Queensland, held each August. X-Tri also organizes and promotes the Ironman 70.3 Canberra in mid-December and, further afield, X-Tri is the partner and license holder for the successful Aviva Ironman 70.3 Singapore (the first and still biggest 70.3 race in Asia).

The company also ran the 2006 ITU Long Distance Triathlon World Championships held in the ACT, Australia.

X-Tri expanded in the 2010/2011 season and was appointed as the operations and logistics manager for the national Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon program, and was also the operations manager for the 10/11 national Nutrigrain Surf Iron man series.
